2017 Turface Field of the Year

November 29, 2017 1:45 PM | Anonymous

The Ohio Sports Turf Managers Association(OSTMA) Boards of Directors has selected the Fremont Ross High School Athletic Complex as its 2017 Turface Field of the Year. Managed by Cory Hull, the facility has gained rave reviews for its athletic surfaces which include natural grass baseball fields (2), softball fields (2), a men’s and women’s soccer pitch, and an artificial football field.

“We received nominations from all over the State of Ohio which included playing surfaces at the high school level, parks and recreation, and at the highest levels of collegiate athletics. In our research of the nominations, we received multiple recommendations for the Fremont Ross Athletic Complex. The work that Cory has done to provide the safest possible playing surfaces for student athletes truly embodies what our organization stands for. We are honored to have him as a member of our organization”, says OSTMA President Weston Appelfeller, CSFM

Cory Hull will be recognized during the Ohio Sports Turf Managers Annual Meeting on December 6th in Columbus, OH.

In addition, Covermaster will be recognized as the 2017 Commercial Affiliate of the Year for their continued support of the Ohio Sports Turf Managers Association.

Join us as we recognize these winners as well as Founders Award, Presidents Award, scholarship and grant recipients.
