ZOOM ROUNDTABLE: How to be an Effective Sports Manager During Theses Challenging Times

If the current state affairs has left you wondering, concerned, or searching for answers on how to be an effective Sports Field Manager right now, you are not alone. The OSTMA Round Table is a opportunity to gather with peers to take a deeper dive into tangible issues that we are facing or will face in the immediate future. As an industry, our greatest resource is our people. Sports Field Managers, assistants, vendors, contractors, interns, students, and many other people we work with every day make this a special industry. This Round Table, and others which will follow, will be a gathering of those aforementioned people in an effort to gain perspective, empathy, and knowledge on how we can lead our staff, organizations, and facilities through these unprecedented times. We ask for our members to participate at a level they are most comfortable with the understanding we are all here to help each other. Join us on a Zoom Meeting this Friday at 2:00 pm.

The panelists are:

Joel Thornton, Centerville-Washington Park District

Britt Barry, Warren County Visitors Bureau

Ryan DeMay, Columbus Parks & Recreation

Wes Ganobcik, Columbus Clippers
Steve Lord, Cincinnati Reds
Brian Hall, Sylvania Recreation
Andrew Muntz, Green Velvet Sod Farms
