OSTMA provides our membership with a state-wide resource for information about our industry. We like to refer to this as T.R.E.N.D.S.
Training: We host field days each year to provide our membership increased awareness of the best practices.
Research: We have donated funds over the past several years to The Ohio State University, Clark State Community College, and Owens Community College to further their sports turf research programs.
Education: We provide great speaker panels at our field days, as well as for other related state turf organizations.
Networking: This is one of our most valuable assets to our members as they are able to meet other sports turf professionals and can ask questions or help with various problems from the local school to the professional sports field groundskeepers.
Development: The OSTMA has provided increasing funds for scholarships, national STMA travel and internship funding over the past several years. The organization values young turf professionals in their development.
Services: There are many services provided to our members. There are field days, publications, website links, troubleshooting and best practice, as well as and many other benefits that are provided throughout the course of the year.
