Sylvania Recreation District currently has an opening for an Athletic Grounds Service Person (Full-time hourly/Year round position). The Athletic Grounds Serviceperson is involved in all facets of the Facilities and Maintenance department operations including but not limited to, training and leadership of seasonal staff, equipment operations and maintenance, turf cultural practices, turf applications, irrigation system operation, maintenance, daily athletic field preparation and maintenance and general facility maintenance. Applicant should be knowledgeable in athletic turf agronomics and athletic field maintenance. Prefer previous athletic turf maintenance experience. Possession of a valid driver’s license is required.
